Yes, all our made-to–measure curtains can help you retain the heat in your room and help to banish draughts. The curtains work by reducing the amount of air exchange between the colder windows and the rest of your room, which is warmer. Heavier curtains are more effective at insulation so it makes sense to choose a thicker curtain fabric such as velvet, along with a thermal or blackout lining. Your local advisor will give you expert advice at your in-home appointment to find the best solution for you, your space and your budget.
All of our made-to-measure curtains are available with a blackout lining, which will reduce the amount of light coming into your room. However, the way eyelet curtains are made and fitted means light can seep through the eyelets and around the edges. This can be minimised by layering with a Blackout blind or by choosing a different header for your curtains. Your advisors will be able to advise on the best solution for your room.
Our eyelet curtains are designed to fit on to a 28mm metal curtain pole, available when you buy any curtains from our range. Your local advisor will fit it for you, so you don't have to worry about getting it right - it's all included in the price!
