A Roman blind in Strawberry Thief Dusk brings a moody elegance to one of William Morris’s most beloved designs. Recast in a palette of muted blues and warm neutrals against a deep, blue ground, this Roman blind offers a simpler take on the iconic pattern. The birds, poised mid-theft among curling leaves and stylised blooms, are rendered with exquisite detail, beaks open ready to steal the fruit and whether viewed in folds when raised or as the full composition, it reads like a storybook illustration, rich, layered, and full of character. Pair with deep navy or soft taupe walls to echo the dusk-inspired palette, or contrast with pale neutrals for a more contemporary feel. Cleaning Tips

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

Child Safety

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
