Sasso Sand
Pleated Blinds
Opting for a darker shade of beige to create something unique to the tone but still bearing some similarity with the neutral style. Sasso Sand can be used to decorate various styles because it will have a more delicate effect. For example, darker decorated homes will find that even though its dimmer shade fits with the current style, its brighter aspect will subtly highlight other colours being used. In addition to this its textured appearance extends across the entire fabric, so even if you choose to go with a shorter length you will still be able to enjoy this pattern.

Quality is something we take very seriously here at Hillarys. All our products are rigorously tested to ensure they are made to the best standards and look and fit exactly as they should. We want you to be completely satisfied with your Pleated blinds, so we offer a full 12-month warranty as assurance that our products will stand the test of time. This is our promise to you that you’re investing in a quality product that’s made to the highest specifications. As part of your warranty we will repair or replace any faulty goods free of charge.
- Cleaning Tips
-
Keep your Pleated blinds looking bright and fresh by using a clean, dry duster or the upholstery brush attachment on your vacuum. To avoid wrinkling or ripping the fabric, be careful not to press against the pleats too hard. If there is a little more than dust to contend with use a damp sponge dipped in lukewarm water to wipe across the pleats. Make sure the sponge ist only damp not wet and work from the top down. It's best not to use fabric conditioner on your blinds as the material can stain. Tougher marks can be removed with a specialist fabric stain remover or spray foam but please follow the manufacturer’s instructions closely, and test a small, inconspicuous area first if in doubt.
- Child Safety
-
At Hillarys we do everything we can to make sure our products are safe for children. As a minimum, all of our blinds meet the European Standard BS EN 13120 for both performance and safety. Beyond this, safety is at the forefront of our minds right through the design process as we strive to make products that are not only stylish and high-quality, but also safe. As all our Pleated blinds are pull-cord operated, your Hillarys advisor will install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose strings. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the ground.
- FAQ's
-
How much do Pleated blinds cost?
As all our blinds are made-to-measure, the total cost of your Pleated blind will depend on the specific size of your windows, any optional extras you choose such as motorised controls, transition options which allow you to choose two different Pleated fabrics within one blind, or enhanced systems such as our cord lock feature. Your advisor will provide you with a no obligation quote based on your specific requirements during your in-home appointment which will take about 45 minutes. If you are looking for blinds for an entire conservatory, your appointment will take a little longer.
How do I fit Pleated blinds to my windows?
Pleated blinds can be fitted to your windows in several ways. Your advisor will talk you through the options to agree the best method for your specific window style and to discuss your personal preferences.
Do you have a no-drill option?
All our Pleated blinds can be fitted into a Perfect Fit frame, which is an innovative, no drill solution for uPVC windows and doors. The Perfect Fit frame simply clips into place within your uPVC beading and the blind sits snugly within the frame.
Can Pleated blinds be motorised?
Our Pleated blinds are available with motorised controls, allowing you to operate single blinds, multiple blinds and blinds in hard-to-reach areas simply with the touch of a button.
Are Pleated blinds suitable for bathrooms?
Our collections include special fabrics that are moisture-resistant and therefore suitable for high moisture environments such as bathrooms and kitchens. Look out for the special symbol on the reverse of your fabric sample, or ask your advisor to show you our moisture-resistant fabrics.
Are Pleated blinds a good choice for my conservatory?
Our range of Pleated blinds includes special performance fabrics with sun reflective backings. These have been cleverly designed to help to keep the temperature down in the warmer summer months while retaining the heat once it starts to get cooler. Pleated blinds are ideal for the roof of your conservatory as they can be made to fit the different shaped windows. For the sides you can opt for more Pleated in a coordinating or contrasting colour, or choose from our full range of blind types.
My conservatory becomes quite cold during the winter. Will Pleated blinds help to keep it warmer?
Blinds can really help get rid of the chill in your conservatory. Not only do they look cosy but they have a practical advantage too. Our range of Pleated blinds includes specialist fabrics that help to retain the heat. You can fit Pleated into your roof and then choose from our full range of blinds for around the sides.
My windows are an odd shape, will Pleated blinds work for me?
Pleated blinds can be made to almost any shape and used in roof windows too, making them a popular choice for conservatories and glass extensions.
