If the word Nest makes you think of a safe and nurturing space and you’d love to make a room in your home that makes you feel the same way, then that’s just what we think our Calm Living collection can do, and Nest is one of our most interesting fabrics. A boucle-style fabric, where the uneven texture is created from the unusual way that the fibres are woven together, the curls and loops the scramble over the fabric are an eye catching choice and whether your Roman blind is drawn up in folds or fully extended you’ll still be able to enjoy the visual effect. Nest Chalk is the palest of the three colours in the range, touches of grey over an off-white base.

Cleaning Tips

Using the upholstery attachment, gently vacuum your Roman blinds. Work in a downwards motion from top to bottom, paying particular attention to the bottom and side edges, where dust may gather. Stains can be spot treated with a clean, damp cloth or a specialist stain remover. Do not machine wash your Roman blinds – many of our fabrics are dry clean only.

Child Safety

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Roman bind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children. If you move home and leave your blinds you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
